What we collect, and what we don’t.

Only what you type into the form: your first name and your email address. Nothing else. We do not ask for your phone number, your address, or your payment details, because there is nothing to buy here yet.

We also record which part of the page you signed up from, for example the form at the top or a particular day’s script. That tells us which writing is actually helping people, and nothing about you personally.

Two small markers, always. One says you joined the waitlist, which is what keeps the daily scripts unlocked when you come back so you never have to sign up twice. The other remembers the privacy choice you made at the bottom of the page, so we stop asking.

If you tap Accept on the notice, the advertising and measurement cookies described below are also set. Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and the notice will ask you again.

We advertise this challenge, mostly on Instagram and Facebook, because that is where Dr. Ebony’s work already lives. To know whether any of it is working, we need to see which post or ad brought you here.

When you tap Accept, those platforms may set cookies that tell us how their ads performed, and let us show this challenge to more people who resemble the people already on the waitlist. It is how a small team finds the next Kind Soul without guessing. We are switching these on as the advertising starts.

Until you tap it, none of that loads. And if you would rather it never did, that is genuinely fine: skip the button, use the site exactly as it is, and you still get everything you signed up for. Clearing your browser data for this site resets the choice at any time.

Separately, and regardless of your choice, we note which part of this page or which day’s script you signed up from. That is our own record, it stays with us, and it tells us which writing actually helps people.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever. We do not email you things you did not ask for, and we do not hand your name to another company’s mailing list.

You can change your mind at any time. Clear your browser data for this site and the notice will ask again, or email us and we will handle it from our side.

To send you the free KIND Soul Snapshot, to tell you when doors open for The KIND Challenge, and to send a small number of useful emails in between. That is the entire list.

We can see whether you opened an email and whether you clicked a link in it. That happens through a small invisible image and through links that pass briefly through links.kindsoulchallenge.com on their way to where they were going. We use it to work out which emails are worth sending and which ones are not. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out, no questions and no follow-up.

Two companies help us operate, and only for that purpose: Resend stores our contact list and delivers our email, and Vercel hosts this website. Both are standard service providers bound by their own privacy terms.

Email ebony@hellokindsoul.com and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or complete deletion, and we will take care of it. There is no form to fill out and no hoop to jump through.

This site is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove it.
