What we collect, and what we don’t.

Only what you give us, and only when you use one of these:

A booking inquiry (the form on the contact page): your name, email, phone number if you add it, your organization, how you heard about Dr. Ebony, and what you tell us about your event or request. It is saved so we can follow up, sent to Dr. Ebony and her team, and you get an email confirming we have it.

The KIND Challenge waitlist: your first name and email, and which part of the page you signed up from.

A free guide from the Resources page: your first name and email. We email you the download, and you join Dr. Ebony’s email list. You can leave it at any time.

A seat in a free masterclass: your first name and email, plus the two optional answers on the form (a word about the conversation you have been putting off, and whether you lead a team or school). We email you the details and reminders, and you join Dr. Ebony’s email list. You can leave it at any time.

A purchase (The KIND Challenge, or a guide when guides are on sale): your name, your email, what you bought, and what you paid. Your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers. If you join The KIND Challenge, your name and email are also used to invite you to its private community on Circle.

An email to us: messages sent to hello@kindsoulchallenge.com are forwarded to Dr. Ebony and her team so a person can answer.

If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we also note which campaign brought you and the page you came from, for that visit, and keep it with your sign-up, inquiry or purchase. That tells us what is actually working.

A few small markers: the choice you made on the privacy notice, so we stop asking; whether you joined the waitlist, which keeps the daily scripts unlocked when you come back; and whether you chose the light or dark look. The campaign note above lives only in this browser tab and is gone when you close it.

If you tap Accept on the notice, the advertising and measurement cookies described below are also set. Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and the notice will ask you again.

We advertise, mostly on Instagram and Facebook, because that is where Dr. Ebony’s work already lives. To know whether any of it is working, we need to see which post or ad brought you here.

When you tap Accept, Meta (which runs Instagram and Facebook) may set cookies that tell us how its ads performed, and let us show Dr. Ebony’s work to more people who resemble the people already here. Until you tap it, none of that loads, and the site works exactly the same if you never do.

Separately, when you join the waitlist, save a masterclass seat or make a purchase, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and first name along with that event, so Meta can tell us whether one of its ads led to it. We do this whichever choice you make on the notice. It does not send Meta anything you typed beyond those two details, and we do not do it for booking inquiries or free guides.

To send what you asked for: your download, your confirmation, your receipt, a reply to your inquiry. If you joined the waitlist, took a free guide or saved a masterclass seat, we also tell you when the next KIND Challenge opens and send a small number of useful emails in between. That is the entire list.

We can see whether you opened an email and whether you clicked a link in it. That happens through a small invisible image and through links that pass briefly through links.kindsoulchallenge.com on their way to where they were going. We use it to work out which emails are worth sending. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.

Every email that is not a receipt, a download or a reply to you has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out, no questions and no follow-up.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever. We do not hand your name to another company’s mailing list, and we do not email you things you did not ask for.

A few companies help us run the site, and only for that purpose: Vercel hosts it; Neon holds our database of inquiries, sign-ups and orders; Resend stores our email list and delivers our email; Stripe takes payments; Circle hosts the community for KIND Challenge participants; and Meta measures our ads as described above. Each is bound by its own privacy terms.

For as long as it is useful for the reason you gave it to us: an inquiry while we are talking about your event, a purchase for our records and taxes, a list membership until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record of a payment.

Email ebony@hellokindsoul.com and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion, and we will take care of it. There is no form to fill out and no hoop to jump through.

This site is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove it.
