Sound familiar?
You're not bad at this. You were never handed the opening.
You've rehearsed it in the car. You've typed the text and deleted it.
You wait for the right moment, and small things turn into big ones. "What could have been one sentence in March becomes a serious conversation in July."
You know exactly what you should have said. Just not until 2am.
What's inside
Five conversations, five openings.
Giving someone difficult feedback
Say the specific thing, so they can actually change it.
Setting a boundary
One calm sentence that sounds settled, not like an opening offer.
Saying no without overexplaining
A no that stands even if they argue with your reason.
Addressing something that hurt you
Name what landed, so it stops sitting in you.
Asking clearly for what you need
What, from whom, by when. A request people can say yes to.
Look inside
Here's how a script works.
Every script follows the same six steps: the situation, what often happens, the shift that changes it, the words to say, how to make them sound like you, and one last check before you go in.
“I am not going to be able to do this one. Thank you for thinking of me.”
Put the no in the first sentence. If it arrives in sentence four, the first three sound like a windup.

Get the PDF instantly, on screen and by email.
Pick the conversation you've been avoiding.
Say the opening out loud twice, then have the conversation.
Questions
Before you start.
Is it really free?
Yes. Tell us where to send it and the download opens right away. A copy goes to your email too.
Is this therapy?
No. It's a communication guide. If you're in crisis or unsafe, the guide lists who to call, and that comes first.
Can I print it?
Yes. It's a regular PDF, made to print.
What if I need more than the opening?
That's what The Kind Conversation Toolkit is for: fifteen situations, and what to say after they answer.
